Elf cuticle oil review and notd!

Let's face it, it's April 1st and there's still snow on the ground. We may as well turn ourselves into spring and hope that the weather follows suit. To start off my spring 'transformation' I decided to wear tons of spring colours, since it's still cold though i've had to do that mostly via my nail polish. This is sort of like a notd except not really because I don't think you can buy this colour anymore so I added a little extra to this post, a review!

Ever tried a cuticle pen? Me neither until recently, I didn't think i'd need one but my cuticles have been pretty crusty (for lack of a better word) recently. So I used this e.l.f one that I had purchased a while back. It contains avocado, almond oils, vitamin fortified E, A, C,, and pro-vitamin B5. Vitamin A is supposed to help growth, Vitamin C and E are supposed to help with strength. Avocado contains vitamin E which will again help strength and almond oils will harden your nails and is also supposed to help with dry hands. (Which i'm guessing is what helps soften your cuticles.) Pro-vitamin B5 is also acts as a skin moisturiser so it should de-crust (for lack of better words) your cuticles!

The nail polish I used for this is spice by no7 but it's limited edition and I can't find it on the boots website although, you might find it on amazon? The polish is a lot more baby pink than it looks, and not so red. Don't know why my camera is trying to deceive you aha. Anyway, back to the cuticle pen, I put it on before and after I paint my nails. I run it over my cuticles, leave it for a minute and rub what still hasn't sunk in into my skin with my fingers. It definitely works well and i'm much happier when I look at my hands, it's really cheap as well so I recommend it!

Hope you enjoyed the post!
